About the Company
FrugalTec was founded in 2022 by Jürg, Paul, and Sascha with the aim of making fresh and healthy food more accessible to everyone and contributing to the agriculture of tomorrow. Our solution: vertical, soil-free cultivation systems that require little space, save up to 90% water, and enable fresh harvests all year round – at home, in the office, and in the future also in greenhouses.
The name FrugalTec is a combination of "frugal" and "technology." It stands for our commitment to creating real added value with as few resources as possible – through simple, intelligent systems that are easy to understand, suitable for everyday use, and environmentally friendly.
With our products, we want to encourage people to get active themselves. Whether on the balcony, in the kitchen or in the workplace, FrugalTec makes gardening easy and creates a healthy, sustainable alternative to industrially produced goods.

How did you arrive at the company valuation?
Our valuation is based on a realistic assessment of our development to date, the market potential, and the existing company values. In addition to our revenue growth to date, we have substantial assets: injection molding and extrusion tools, an international patent, our own machine park, a young plant nursery, and, above all, a fully developed, materialized product that is ready for series production, in which we have invested a great deal of development work.
This combination of tangible company value, technological depth, and strong future potential forms the basis for our valuation.
Do I get voting rights?
As a crowd investor, you participate in the economic success of FrugalTec AG – however, your shares do not carry voting rights. This ensures efficient and focused corporate management: strategic decisions remain the responsibility of our experienced team.

Are you planning an exit or dividend payment?
Our goal is long-term, healthy growth with a focus on recurring revenue and sustainable impact. A dividend payment is possible in the medium term once a stable cash flow has been established. An exit through participation or acquisition remains conceivable in the long term, but is not our primary goal.

With over 15 years of experience in product development, 10 years in business development (sales) and 8 years of practical experience in growing plants in vertical systems, Sascha combines technical expertise with strategic thinking. As a plastics technician and industrial engineer, he has the expertise to turn ideas into market-ready innovations - efficiently, sustainably and with a clear view of the big picture.
As an electrical engineer HF with sound experience in electronics development, software programming and device assembly, Paul drives FrugalTec's technical vision forward. He has been developing smart, efficient systems for over 25 years - and also has years of practical experience in series production. He stands for robust, frugal technology that combines innovation and suitability for everyday use.
Jürg is a born salesman: with over 30 years of experience in sales and a strong network throughout Europe, he has exactly what it takes in sales. With his confident, authentic demeanour, he quickly gains people's trust and manages to communicate innovative solutions convincingly. His market orientation and feel for customer needs make him a decisive driver for our growth.
Brigitte has over 20 years of experience in commercial and administrative areas and always maintains an overview, even in complex situations. Her strength lies in structured organisation - be it in accounting, controlling or in the planning and implementation of trade fairs and events. As a versatile team player with an entrepreneurial spirit, she ensures stability in day-to-day business and a strong external image.
Bea is our all-rounder for administrative processes. She ensures that everything runs smoothly in the background and takes care of HR issues and contracts with our sales partners. With her keen sense of aesthetics, she also plays an active role in shaping our visual image. Her energetic nature is a valuable support for the whole team.
