Since 2017, ONESTO has been developing, roasting and distributing premium coffee with a clear ambition: coffee should not only taste good, but also be produced with a clear attitude.
The name ONESTO comes from Italian and means “honest”. This idea is at the core of the brand. ONESTO focuses on organic and Fairtrade-certified coffee, careful processing and Swiss roasting craftsmanship. The result is a coffee that combines quality, responsibility and taste.
ONESTO is not positioning sustainable coffee as a luxury product for a select few. The brand aims to prove that conscious coffee consumption can also work in the mass market: in retail, online and directly within its community.
From Swiss coffee project to established brand
In recent years, ONESTO has shown that its model works. Today, the brand is nationally listed at Coop and Migros and available online via platforms such as Brack, Farmy and Galaxus.
The development of its sales figures also underlines the momentum behind ONESTO: since 2021, the company has increased its bean sales by around 600 %. In 2024, ONESTO reached break-even, followed by revenue of around CHF 1.8 million in 2025.
This means ONESTO is no longer at the beginning of an idea, but entering its next phase of growth.
The next phase: scaling and internationalisation
